My Vote is still that you are an AWESOME mom!!! I constantly amaze me - and thanks for the help calming down my 6 yr olds! I need all I can get:) And everyone with kids say that the alternating time outs are killer and many a child have been left for a little bit bc who can keep track, especially with more than one child! You are still my idea of Supermom, even with a tearstained cutie:)
To answer your trim question, yes it should all be the same (in my opinion) there are some designers that like to specify different whites but usually that would apply to walls.
